Primate Chair and Docking Station

  • A variety of accessories are available for the base system.

  • Custom design modifications can be made to suit particular needs.

The primate chair system is a unique design made of robust extruded aluminum components. It combines a docking station anchored to the floor and a separate primate chair that rolls into the docking station. Adjustable head restraint hardware is mounted on the docking station, thereby decoupling the head restraint from the primate chair. This results in exceptional stability and reduction of movement artifacts. Four clamps hold the chair securely in the docking station.

There are two options for head fixation:

   1) The articulating clamp system for use with traditional headposts

   2) The halo frame system
